"By the usual standards of this wine, it is a big and robust wine with more size, weight and muscle than I typically find. My usual impression is that while there is almost always good volume and generosity, the disappointing 2004 not withstanding, that the flavors and tannins are sleek and refined. By contrast, here this is a robust, well muscled and solidly structured effort with outstanding depth and very ripe structural elements that should enable this to age exceptionally well. Terrific."
