"Good deep red. Wonderfully complex, scented nose combines black cherry, rose petal, smoked meat, coffee and underbrush; a real essence of the village. Then densely packed and sweet, with beautifully integrated acidity and floral lift giving this silky wine a very suave impression. A tactile, peppery quality gives added lift to the wonderfully rich, long finish. This will gain in complexity with aging and should be stunning."
