"This really has a lovely acid, fruit and soil balance that may well be the hallmark of the 2002 vintage. The nose offers up notes of black cherries, plums, violets, minerals and a nice touch of bitter chocolate. Medium-full, harmonious and showing the succulence of perfectly ripe fruit. Round tannins and shapely acids."
