"Bright red with ruby highlights. Lovely spicy lift to the aromas of raspberry, blood orange, gingerbread and flowers; plenty of sexy oak showing. Concentrated, sweet and lush but vibrant too, with savory cherry and spice flavors offering plenty of early appeal. Finishes with smooth tannins and excellent persistence. This has the balance to age but it's delicious right now."

A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
