"Matured in French oak over 11 months, this has a deep, rather broody nose that is dreaming of opulence. Wild strawberry, creme de cassis and a touch of violet, it would just benefit from more definition. Very smooth on the entry, good acidity and purity, this Pinot has a sumptuous quality to it with cranberry, wild strawberry and raspberry, a really enthralling persistency on the finish. The oak is beautifully enmeshed within this wine that should age gracefully . . ."
