"Very dark and blackish. Good evolved rim. Lovely mature complex layered nose. Smoke and meat with warm fumey black fruit too. Truly fine wine – not a copy of a Rhône but very unlike most Australian Shirazes. A true expression of place – not at all like Barossa or McLaren Vale. Sweet and fully evolved. With real purity and energy there."

Renowned for powerful, richly fruited Shiraz, most famously from the Barossa Valley, alongside age-worthy Cabernet and cool-climate whites. A warm climate and old, ungrafted vines produce wines of generosity and depth.
