". . . still largely primary, and softly oaky, red, black and blue fruit aromas that are nuanced by hints of violets, underbrush, spice and game. The impressively complex, delicious, intense, detailed and classy big-bodied flavors are remarkably refined for a classic Corton yet this is an entirely serious wine of exceptional length and perfect balance. As it has been since its release, this is a stunner of a wine that is still on the way up yet it's no longer so structured that it couldn't be enjoyed now though with that said, I would advise continuing to hold it. in a word, terrific."
