"Bright straw-yellow. Captivating aromas of poached pear, licorice and wet stone. Rich, velvety and pure but still a touch austere, with intense minerality firming the lush pit fruit flavors. The long, sumptuous finish is densely packed, with tobacco and a subtle herbal nuance adding further complexity. This is my favorite of the three single-vineyard offerings and one of the finest Sancerres of the vintage."
