"This is a very fine Spatlese from Leitz. The Magdalenenkreuz Riesling Spatlese sports a crisp flinty nose with fine definition, if very tightly wound and primal. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, touches of honey and apricot interlacing the slightly viscous fruit with a nicely poised finish. Impressive."

The spiritual home of Riesling, producing wines of piercing acidity, precision and longevity across a spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. Cool, steep-sloped vineyards along the Mosel and Rhine yield some of the world's most delicate, long-lived whites.
A historic Riesling region along the Rhine, producing racier, often drier wines of structure and mineral depth from south-facing slopes.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
