"Ruby-red. Very complex, superripe nose hints at black cherry, eucalyptus and bitter chocolate. Suave and lush in the mouth, with lovely lift owing to harmonious acidity. The most filled in in the middle palate of these wines to this point. Finishes with extremely fine tannins and excellent length."

Spain has the largest area under vine of any country and a deep tradition of oak-aged reds. Tempranillo-based wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero, alongside Priorat's Garnacha and Carinena, anchor its fine-wine reputation.
