"Dark, inky, ruby-garnet with an opaque core and violet-ruby highlights. Fairly delicate on the nose, with cool and graceful dark fruit, fine dried fruit aromas, delicate tangerine notes, a hint of nougat: very complex. On the palate: powerful, very complex and juicy with a pleasant fruitiness, fine sour cherry confit, candied oranges on the finish; possesses a perfect texture, a great combination of raw material, concentration, and precision; stains the palate for a very long time, with a peppery spiciness in the reverberating finish: shows great promise for the future, has everything a really big, vintage port needs."
