"The bouquet was more precocious than previous encounters with red cherries and raspberry scents, very perfumed and floral, a winsome nose that almost leaves you giggling with pleasure. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation. Quite youthful for a 1990, it offers sweet red fruit laced with blood orange and a hint of iodine on the finish. Finally, I have chanced upon a great bottle of this rare Charmes-Chambertin from Denis Bachelet."
