". . . ripe and quite floral nose is comprised by notes of plum, anise, warm earth and violets. The broad-shouldered, exceptionally rich and sleekly muscled flavors possess excellent volume on the mid-palate and plenty of dry extract that successfully balances off the still very firmly structured but velvety and superbly long finish. This is very masculine in style, indeed even robust and slightly rustic yet it carries itself with balanced grace. In sum, this is an old school Nuits with years of upside development potential still ahead of it."
