"(Domaine.) Musky aromas of ripe apricot, nut oil and smoke. Fat, sweet and rich, boasting superb volume and a round, seamless texture. This would be almost too much today were it not for the wine's solid underlying spine (the pH here is a low-for-the-vintage 3.21). I'd hold this at least six or seven years before pulling the cork."
