"Reddish tawny. Smells warm and slightly earthy. There’s power and great vitality here, and it seems younger than its 20 years. Although this is fortified, it has more of a wine quality than some colheita ports, still showing some red fruit. Intense, full of lovely dried fruit sweetness but balanced by the tangy confit orange flavours. Power and precision."
