"Good deep color. Reticent, fruit-driven aromas of black cherry, raspberry, cassis and chocolate. Fat, sweet and seamless; in fact, bordering on unctuous. But, in contrast to the '96, this benefits from sound supporting acidity. Flavors run deep. Full, ripe back end."
