"Deep ruby. Ripe cherry and blackcurrant aromas are complicated by cured tobacco, iron and fresh flowers. Vanilla and baking spices come up with air and carry onto the palate, which offers sweet red and dark berry flavors and a velvety texture. Leaves sweet blackberry and boysenberry behind on the long, seamless finish."

Spain has the largest area under vine of any country and a deep tradition of oak-aged reds. Tempranillo-based wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero, alongside Priorat's Garnacha and Carinena, anchor its fine-wine reputation.
A rugged Catalan region whose steep llicorella slate slopes produce dense, mineral Garnacha and Carinena. Low yields and old vines give wines of great intensity and concentration.
One of only two wines with Spain's top DOQ status, yielding dense, mineral Garnacha and Carinena from steep slate slopes.
