"A lovely ripe nose of macerated black cherries, fresh fig, smoke, plum and a hint of eau-de-vie. The palate is very well balanced and focused with a feminine feel to it. Very good acidity, pert and well poised with red cherry, dried orange peel, mandarin and a svelte, sappy finish that is just a beauty to behold. A really wonderful mature Spanish gem."

Spain has the largest area under vine of any country and a deep tradition of oak-aged reds. Tempranillo-based wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero, alongside Priorat's Garnacha and Carinena, anchor its fine-wine reputation.
Spain's noble red grape, producing structured, savory wines of red fruit and leather that respond beautifully to oak aging in Rioja and Ribera del Duero.
