"The color is now becoming a distinct golden yellow. Otherwise, this is a massive and legendary Ramonet Montrachet that deserves every bit of its acclaim with a superbly complex nose that displays only moderate secondary development, which when you consider the character of this copious vintage, is all the more remarkable. The big, rich, pure and ultra intense and mouth coating flavors reveal enormous depth and a silky texture that has to be experienced to be believed. A great, great effort that will drink well for another 20 years. Consistent notes . . . . Note: I have had bottles labeled as Domaine Ramonet and as Domaine Ramonet-Prudhon."
