"Light, yellow tinged color. Interesting, challenging, exotic, sweet, and complex aromas begin with pear and honey. Then secondary wet newspaper aromas emerge. Upon entry, we are immediately struck by bright, almost effervescent acidity, which balances beautifully against flavors of green apple, pineapple, marzipan, and honey. This wine displays excellent minerality and keeps improving in the glass! Big, very long, satisfying finish. At the dawn of peak drinking years, this wine was easily the crowdâs favorite among the seven Spatlesen."
