"The only other 2009 I was able to taste on this visit, the 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve Auguste Favier doesn’t disappoint and gives up plenty of kirsch liqueur, white pepper, herbes de Provence and licorice to go with a full-bodied, sweetly-fruited, yet concentrated profile on the palate. Showing additional tannic grip on the finish, it will continue to evolve nicely . . ."
