"The 2004 exhibits an inky/blue/black color along with notes of white chocolate, espresso roast, blackberries, cassis and a subtle barbecue-like meatiness and smokiness. It is full-bodied and intense with residual sweetness apparent, but not cloying. While not dry, this wine is so well-balanced and integrated, and the fruit so rich and extracted, it should age a minimum of 30-50 years."
