"The regular 1995 bottling of cabernet sauvignon from Chris Camarda is aging very well indeed and is a lovely drink at age eighteen. The bouquet is deep, complex and nicely mature, as it wafts from the glass in a mix of cassis, black cherries, chicory, a bit of cigar ash, currant leaf and a fair bit of new wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely complex, with a fine core of fruit, ripe, melting tannins, good acids and excellent length and grip on the focused and complex finish. There is not the same transparency or elegance here as is found in the “R” bottlings from this era, but this is a fine bottle that is aging very well indeed and is drinking well today and shows still plenty of life for the future as well."
