". . . the 2000 is a very worthy follow-up to the stellar 1999. The nose is deep and quite black fruity, offering up notes of black cherries, plums, bitter chocolate, herb tones, woodsmoke, a bit of gripped meats, and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and lush on the attack, with excellent framing acidity, ripe tannins, and superb length and grip on the finish. This is now clearly a wine to buy in every vintage chez Dujac."
