"Dried almonds, tangerine, dried pears and spices meld together in the 2012 Chardonnay Sierra Mar Vineyard. This is a classic Wente clone Chardonnay with a little added energy and tension from the mountain site. Sierra Mar, a dramatic rugged collection of plots, was planted with a Hyde selection of the Wente clone in 2007. Even at this early stage, it is pretty obvious what a special site Sierra Mar is."
