". . . 68% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc: Bright medium red-ruby. Tight nose hints at currant, plum, licorice and sexy oak. Firmly built and intense, conveying excellent energy to the dark berry, violet and bitter chocolate flavors. Nicely integrated oak. The longest and firmest of these 2011 releases from Columbia Crest, finishing with harmonious noble tannins and excellent grip and length. Still a baby and structured to evolve gracefully in bottle."

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
