"...Excellent, wafting from the glass in a complex mix of cassis, black raspberries, eucalyptus, a touch of chipotle pepper, cigar ash, a lovely dollop of spice tones and a bit of petroleum jelly in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish, complex and velvety on the attack, with a good core of fruit, melted tannins and lovely length and grip on the focused and very classy finish."
