"Spicy and extremely elegant crushed black fruit and an earthy/iron character lead to superbly complex, firm and relatively fine flavors. The palate impression is quite refined and not nearly as robust as the typical Nuits though there is a solid backbone of ripe tannins. Classy, deep, rich and very complex flavors culminate in a remarkably long finish, all of which make for a real stunner of a wine."
