"The 2008 Syrah Zio Tony Ranch emerges from the glass with juicy red cherries, wild herbs, licorice, game and spices. Varietal notes continue to emerge from this totally graceful, nuanced wine. Sweet mint and floral notes give the finish much of its energy. The mid-weight Zio Tony Syrah has enough freshness and vibrancy to drink well for a number of years. I loved it."
