"This liter bottling once again delivers consummate refreshment, impeccable balance and outstanding value. Fresh apple and white peach are laced with cooling mint, invigoratingly incisive cress, and sweaty, saliva-inducing salinity. At 12 percent alcohol, this is fuller than usual but still supplies some sense of lift in its lip-smacking finish. I know I sound like a broken record, but how unfortunate (and frankly, ultimately inexplicable) that this ostensibly intro-level bottling nowadays represents the sole Minges offering (save for occasional installments of their radical exercise in non-intervention, âFroschkönigâ) that harbors more than 10 but fewer than 30 or more grams of residual sugar, and thus their sole offering to exhibit anything remotely like this wineâs sense of hidden sweetness, a trait that proves highly versatile at table."

The spiritual home of Riesling, producing wines of piercing acidity, precision and longevity across a spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. Cool, steep-sloped vineyards along the Mosel and Rhine yield some of the world's most delicate, long-lived whites.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
