"Upfront and perfumed, with gorgeous garrigue, lavender, meat, and plum sauce aromatics, the 2007 Domaine Tempier Bandol Cuvée Spéciale La Migoua (this cuvee has the lowest MourvÚdre content with the wine being a blend of 50-65% MourvÚdre and the reset Grenache and Cinsault) is built for the long haul, showing medium to full body, superb balance, solid concentration, and a very long finish. I followed this bottle for four days and it never failed to impress. Much more wild, perfumed, and complex at the moment than the La Tourtine, this is certainly delicious now, but should hit a sweet spot at age 10-12, and drink well for a decade or more after that."

The world's most influential fine-wine producer and the benchmark for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhone. Its appellation (AOC) system codifies geography, grape and method, and its wines set the global standard for age-worthiness and terroir expression.
A late-ripening red lending structure, dark fruit and gamey, meaty complexity to southern Rhone and Mediterranean blends.
