"Still shows a rugged undertow, with grilled herb and braised chestnut flavors, but this has started to soften, and the black currant, fig, coffee, mesquite and incense notes are now beginning to glide through the rich, powerful finish. A wine with a remarkably consistent track record in both style and quality."
