"Saturated black-ruby. Flowers, iron and nutmeg on the nose. Large-scaled, very rich and sweet, with chewy tannins and strong acidity providing a very firm structural underpinning. Like the above, this shows terrific inner-mouth flavor despite its extreme youthfulness. Seemed to grow increasingly musclebound in the glass, but the fruit builds impressively on the very long finish. Extraordinary for the vintage."
