"Petits Charrons is a beautifully situated lieu à dit, as it lies adjacent to Rougeots and just down slope from Chevalières, in one of the finest sections for vineyards only entitled to villages status. The 2008 Petits Charrons from Monsieur Ente is terrific and clearly of premier cru quality, as it offers up a beautifully complex nose of apple, oranges, spring flowers, gentle notes of iodine, a potpourri of fruit blossoms and a whisper of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is fullish, racy and intensely flavored, with a lovely core of fruit, laser-like focus and great snap and cut on the very long, very minerally finish. This too is under 12.5 percent alcohol. Just a lovely, feline bottle of Meursault."
