"It had been 20 months since I last tried this Port. In possession of a very dark ruby color. The Delaforce continues to improve and is a big and juicy wine with sweet, ripe and approachable blackberry flavors that shows how balanced this wine is. From earlier examples the evolution so far shows how good this wine will become over the coming decades. This 2000 is complemented by a refined finish that is smooth and elegant."
