"The 2002 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyardâs bouquet merits 96 points as it is one of the most complete, complex grand cru Pinot Noirs one could ever smell from the New World. Forest floor, flower garden, sweet cherry, strawberry, crushed rocks, and smoky game-like scents represent an aromatic tour de force. The flavors are not quite at the same level, but they are superb nevertheless. This medium to dark ruby-colored Pinot possesses gorgeous sweetness as well as an expansive mouthfeel yet an ethereal lightness . . . . remarkable Pinot Noir . . ."
