"The 2012 Sauvignon, usually one of the better wines in the range, is once again terrific in this vintage. Sage, white peach and tomato leaf notes all wrap around the palate in a wine that impresses for its balance. In 2012 the Sauvignon is a bit more generous with its fruit, while the greener, grassier notes that are typical are a bit more restrained. All of that adds up to a harmonious example of Friulian Sauvignon from the Colli Orientali."

Italy grows more indigenous grape varieties than any other country and produces wine in all 20 of its regions. From Piedmont's Nebbiolo to Tuscany's Sangiovese, its finest wines pair structure and bright acidity with a strong sense of place.
Yields crisp, aromatic whites with citrus, herb and grassy notes. It shines in the Loire, Bordeaux blends and around the world for its refreshing zip.
