"The (2011) Brut Millésimé Fins Lieux N°5 is a wine of tension and understatement. All the elements are nicely balanced. The Blanc de Blancs is soft, open-knit and caressing, with lovely balance of fruit and the brighter, more acid-driven profile that is typical of Champagnes from Le Mesnil . . . . The 8 grams of dosage seems very well measured, as it appears to give the wine an extra bit of mid-palate pliancy it probably would not have had with lower dosage."
