"The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Merlot that spent 20 months in 67% new French oak. Classic Cabernet on the nose, with gorgeous creme de cassis, raspberry ganache, lead pencil shavings and hints of flowers, it is rich, concentrated and decadent on the palate, yet has brilliant purity, a weightless, elegant texture and knockout polish to its tannin. Already approachable due to its balance and overall seamlessness, this [is a] full-bodied effort . . . . First created in 2007, Doubleback is a collaboration between childhood friends Chris Figgins and [former New England Patriots Quarterback] Drew Bledsoe, They source grapes from all over the Walla Walla Valley, including McQueen (this is Bledsoe’s estate vineyard), Loess, Seven Hills, LeFore and Pepper Bridge vineyards."

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
Produces plush, supple, fruit-forward reds with plum and chocolate notes. Softer and earlier-maturing than Cabernet, it adds flesh and roundness to blends and stars in Right Bank Bordeaux.
