". . . our Peopleâs Blend has a fairly even proportion of Zinfandel, Syrah and Mourvèdre with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon for the mid-palate, a little Petite Sirah for tannins and structure, and a touch of Malbec which gives the wine a blue fruit finish making up the interesting and complex base for our blend. The Zinfandel shows the bright red fruit upfront, while the Mourvèdre provides spices and character in the mid-palate, while the Syrah (and a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon) fill out the palate, bringing the wine to its finish which is complemented by a touch of Petite Sirah. The nose, thusly leads with notes of bright red raspberries, cranberry sauce, wild blackberries, cracked pepper, and smoky tobacco notes. Medium to full bodied, the wine glides on the palate with moderate acidity and tannin rounding out a quite pleasing briary fruit forward finish."

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
Yields dark, plush reds with ripe black fruit and soft tannins. A traditional Bordeaux blender, it found its greatest fame in Argentina.
A late-ripening red lending structure, dark fruit and gamey, meaty complexity to southern Rhone and Mediterranean blends.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
California's heritage red, producing bold, brambly, high-alcohol wines of jammy dark fruit and spice, often from old vines.
