"An absolutely delicious wine at a terrific price. It's rich, warm, ripe and generous, with smooth, supple spice, raspberry, blackberry and plum flavors and hints of tobacco, cedar and oak on the finish. Goes down easy. [1991 WS Top 100: Rank 83]"

Renowned for powerful, richly fruited Shiraz, most famously from the Barossa Valley, alongside age-worthy Cabernet and cool-climate whites. A warm climate and old, ungrafted vines produce wines of generosity and depth.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
