"The nose is deep and complex . . . plums, chocolate, red cherries, a bit of duck, cinnamon, herb tones, smoke and vanillin oak waft from the glass. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and succulent, with a lovely nascent creaminess to the fruit, fine delineation and balance and good length on the moderately tannic finish. This will drink very well indeed from an early age, and is a very successful wine . . ."
