"A new project from Mark Aubert is his blend of 50% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 21% Cabernet Franc from a new Howell Mountain vineyard planted and owned by David Abreu. The beautiful 2005 Lucia-Abreu Vineyard (400 cases) exhibits a dark ruby/purple color as well as bright, lively aromas of blueberries, raspberries, and crushed rocks, medium to full body, sweet tannin, good freshness, and a long, heady finish. Elegant yet authoritatively flavored . . ."
