"This offering performed beautifully. The 2002 Shiraz is a 100-case, 100% Shiraz fashioned from 40- to 100-year-old vines. Its deep purple color is followed by a big, smoky, pepper, melted tar, flower, blackberry and blueberry-scented bouquet. There is great fruit on the attack, a voluptuous, sweet, concentrated mid-palate, full body, and an enthralling texture."
