98 RP "A blend of all their vineyards, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate contains 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Its opaque purple color is accompanied by wonderful notes of sweet crème de cassis, black raspberries, spring flowers, a hint of toasty oak, and a full, multidimensional, layered mouthfeel. It should drink well for 15-20 years. This winery was founded in 2002 by Ed and Trish Snider. The production is modest at 4,000 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon from their holdings in the Stags Leap AVA as well as other sites, particularly Bacigalupi, Dutton Ranch and Llewellyn."
