WE
"The nosing passes find earthy/woodsy scents of brambles/vines, moss, forest floor and stones. The palate entry owns a unique tree bark-like taste that's oddly attractive; the midpalate stage features pungent flavors of ashes, roots, quinine, honey, citrus peels and earth."

Italy grows more indigenous grape varieties than any other country and produces wine in all 20 of its regions. From Piedmont's Nebbiolo to Tuscany's Sangiovese, its finest wines pair structure and bright acidity with a strong sense of place.
