"Tasted at the Roumier dinner at The Ledbury. Finally, a bottle that is not premixed! The ’96 has a lucid silvery hue with green tints. Bridled with a lovely, crisp, stony nose with hints of green lemon, dandelion soup, Clementine and umeboshi, the bouquet segues into a beautifully poised palate that is generous and delineated. Touches of lemon curd and almond sprinkled over the finish that has a spring in its step. Perfect now, but it should keep . . . . Tasted May 2010."
