"The 2019 Pinot Noir Occidental Ridge Vineyard is pliant and racy right out of the gate. Bright red cherry, orange peel, mint, lavender and spice all come alive in the glass. In 2019, the Occidental Ridge favors nervous energy over a more overt expression of fruit. That weight is there, it is just buried at the moment. Accordingly, the 2019 needs a few years in bottle to be at its best, after which it will be special. Actually, it already is."
