96+ RH "We only had 6 hours to decant ahead of time, but we tasted over the next three hours. Major extraction and lots of glycerin, I can only imagine what 2-3 hours more decant time would develop. The gang that got to try this beauty was blown away by its intensity and symmetry. I know that I have not had this wine in quite awhile, so it was great to revisit this one. Sumptuous, smooth and an extraordinarily balanced wine with spicy scents, ripe plum and cocoa adding to the complexity. It delivers a solid attack of acidity and a superb long finish with a milk chocolate aftertaste." 91 WS "A tightly knit young Port with gorgeous plum, berry and earth character on the nose. Full-bodied, full of plummy flavors and velvety tannins, it's beautiful to taste, yet has grip and structure."
