"Only three barrels (75 cases) of the 2012 Chardonnay Green Acres were produced. Crisp, elegant notes of apple blossoms, almond paste and pears are present along with zesty acidity, and something akin to a tannic, structured backbone. Layered and intense, it should drink well . . . . Auteur is a small, high-quality winery founded in 2003 by Kenneth Juhasz. The 2012 offerings appear to be the finest wines Auteur has yet made. Moreover, their new packaging is a major upgrade in aesthetics."
